The Lodge

Charming and neat guesthouse with nice amenities. We had to re-schedule our stay a few times but the staff was always very positive, kind, flexible, and accommodating. I highly recommend this place!
The guesthouse is also conveniently located for exploring Vík and the surrounding areas.

A nice lodge with very friendly staff! The rooms are very spacious and modern. Buffet area features coffee | tea available at all times, and seating areas with nice views.
The breakfast buffet itself was very nice, with phenomenal croissants to boot!
Laundry services are offered but are not typically available until the late afternoon/evening.
Vík is 15 minutes away, with the popular Dyrhólaey and Reynisfjara beaches within close proximity as well.

We really enjoyed a day in there. Breakfast was great with freshly baked bread and buns, there was NO shortage of hot water like in the hotel nearby and our room was really clean. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Farmhouse Lodge. Such a serene setting, simple yet elegant decor, and the nicest hosts you can ask for. When we experienced car trouble, they went above and beyond to help out and make sure we were taken care of. We will be back!
